Carly Pearce is joining her latest duet partner on The Voice!

Even though Carly Pearce is a solo artist, she loves a good collaboration. Her previous duets “I Hope You’re Happy Now” (with Lee Brice) and “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” (with Ashley McBryde) both took home CMA and ACM Awards for Musical Event of the Year.

“Never Wanted To Be That Girl” earned her a Grammy Award for Best Duo/Group Performance, while her duet with Chris Stapleton, “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” didn’t take home any awards, but it did garner a Grammy nod in the same category.

Her latest duet is a heartfelt Christmas song with Michael Bublé titled “Maybe This Christmas.”

While announcing “Maybe This Christmas,” Bublé said, “I wrote a Christmas song for people that might not love Christmas because they’re hurting, because they’re vulnerable, because it’s a tough time for a lot of people. I wanted to write something to give them hope.”

Bublé asked Pearce to be part of this song, and even though she doesn’t listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving, she made an exception because the song is that good.

It seems they created a mutual respect for one another while recording this song, that the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer asked the country singer to join his team on The Voice as his Playoff Advisor.

In the Playoffs, which are previously recorded, each coach has five contestants remaining and will be narrowed down to two by their coaches at the end of each episode. Team Gwen performed on the November 19th episode, with Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace advancing to the live shows.

Pearce will help Bublé mentor his five remaining singers: Sofranio Vasquez, Shye, Jaukeem Fortson, Cameron Wright, Sloane Simon.

The Playoffs continue with the Monday, November 25th episode, which airs on NBC at 8/7c.
