To celebrate their eighth wedding anniversary on Saturday (August 31), Bunnie Xo shared a nostalgic look at key moments in her relationship with Jelly Roll.
Bunnie took her social media followers on a “little stroll down memory lane,” showing clips from their past, including the proposal that led to their spontaneous Las Vegas wedding.
One video featured Jelly Roll backstage at a 2015 concert—the night they first met.
Bunnie recalls, “Why I’m recording him, I have no f***ing idea,” adding, “But I don’t know. It was just so f***ing weird. I was so drawn to him.”
After their first meeting, Bunnie ended a previous relationship and began frequent phone calls with Jelly. They were “just friends,” she says, even when she flew to see him perform with Cypress Hill in April 2016. Their friendship turned romantic by July 2016 when Jelly visited Las Vegas to film music videos and spend time with her.
Bunnie’s video captures their first kiss from that trip, just a month before their engagement and wedding.
“This is our every first kiss, and it actually got caught on camera, which I think is so special,” Bunnie says.
Then, fans got the chance to see a never-before-seen video of Jelly’s proposal, which happened onstage at a Deftones concert in Las Vegas in 2016.
Jelly asked, “[What I wanna know is if] your fine a** will marry my white trash a** tonight in Las Vegas.”
Then, the video shows their impromptu wedding the same night. Watch the full video below!

Recently, Jelly and his wife shared loving social media posts to celebrate their eight years of marriage.
Although they didn’t exchange gifts this year, they celebrated by posting heartfelt tributes to each other on social media. Jelly Roll shared a touching photo of himself and his wife backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.
“8 years of marriage to my best friend. 8 years of laughing til our stomach hurts, of late night tv shows and giggles, unconditional love and overcoming obstacles, pushing boundaries and pushing each other further and further towards our dreams. 8 years of building. But 8 years is a small candle compared to the forever that I know is OUR story,” Jelly wrote.
