Bunnie Xo Has Overcome Many Obstacles In Life

Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, has proved time and time again that she has a tremendous heart, especially for those in need. Perhaps it’s because Bunnie knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle.

Growing up on the streets of Las Vegas, Bunnie previously shared she was a homeless runaway at the age of just 14, and by 21-years-old, she was heavily involved in the adult industry.

“Survived abuse, addiction, and built my entire life off being the girl who was never good enough,” she shared on her Dumb Blonde podcast in November.

Bunnie has previously fired back at critics who claim her look is “too trashy for the country music scene,” reminding them that God uses those who might fit quite a perfect mold.

“Sometimes God uses the most unlikely people to be used as vessels to SHOW what transformation and unconditional love is.”

She has also shared a carousel of her previous mugshots, giving a little backstory into each one.

“Looking at the first one, I just couldn’t believe what a baby I was. I was 19 , already living on the streets of Vegas for 5 years, couch to couch, or with whatever boyfriend would let me stay. By then I’d already lost three babies,” Bunnie wrote in the caption. “As the pics go on the eyes only get more sad, more broken & more intoxicated.”

Jelly Roll Gives Back On Thanksgiving

Jelly Roll has also been very open about his difficult journey. The superstar spent years in and out of incarceration and trying to make a name for himself in music, saying that although he could not see it, God’s plan was unfolding for him all along.

“It wasn’t like something I did on the side. Like, it was my job. And I just always had faith that God had a bigger purpose for what I was trying to do,” Jelly said.

He shared he hopes people who are hurting look to him as a reminder that no matter how broken you are, your past does not define your future.

On November 25, the singer visited the prison where he was incarcerated in Nashville. Not only did he visit with them, but he provided meals for them, and the staff in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Jelly is a powerful example of what it means to turn your life around. His journey shows these inmates that redemption is real and that a meaningful, fulfilling life after incarceration is absolutely possible.

Bunnie Also Helps Those In Need This Holiday Season

Along with her husband, Bunnie also decided to make a difference this season. The podcaster and her team provided Thanksgiving dinner and care packages for women at the Mary Parrish Center, a transitional center for survivors of interpersonal violence.

“I normally do my giving back quietly, but I had to bring y’all along on this journey. I can’t wait to help & shed light on this cause that is so dear to my heart. ❤️‍🩹,” Bunnie wrote on Instagram.

She shared a video at the grocery store with her team, buying food, clothing and personal items for the women at Mary Parrish.

“As time has gone on, God has blessed me tremendously to continue bringing smiles to peoples faces,” Bunnie said. “Yesterday I was so blessed to experience one of the most inspiring missions alongside my entire crew.”

Bunnie also shared an unsettling image of spousal abuse showing her with a swollen black eye years in the past. She shared with Extra that she knows from personal experience how difficult it can be to survive what life throws at you.

“Going through a situation personally around 2013 to 2016 with my own domestic violence relationship has just made this mission for myself,” Bunnie recalled, saying “even more of wanting to give back and wanting to be there for the women and the children that are going through this because I know how hard it is to get out.”
