Bryce Leatherwood Reacts To His “Voice” Win – “God Is Good”

Season 22 of The Voice ended on Tuesday night (December 13). After much anticipation, 22-year-old country singer Bryce Leatherwood was named the winner of the season.

Leatherwood was one of three members of Team Blake who advanced to the finale. Shelton gushed about Leatherwood’s victory in a post on social media, writing:

“YOUR SEASON 22 @nbcthevoice WINNER EVERYBODY!!!! BRYCE LEATHERWOOD!!!! I’m such a proud coach.. @bryceleatherwood, you are so damn deserving of this. Thank you America and GET READY WORLD!!!”

Shelton secured his ninth Voice win with Leatherwood. He holds the record for the most wins of any coach on the show.

Leatherwood took a moment to soak everything in before he reacted to his big win in a post of his own. He expressed his shock, writing:

I am lost for words… this experience has been one that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Leatherwood went on to thank everyone for their support throughout his time on The Voice:

The incredible people I have met along this journey have made this all worth it. To my family, the people of Georgia, and for my fans watching around the world, THIS IS FOR YALL! God is good.
