The Voice / YouTube

The Season 22 Voice finale was packed full of performances. On top of featuring guest artists, The Voice showcased each of the five finalists through duets with their coaches. Since Blake Shelton had three artists in the finale, he performed three duets in one night!

Shelton joined country singer Bryce Leatherwood to perform “Hillbilly Bone.” As you likely know, Shelton released “Hillbilly Bone” as a duet with Trace Adkins in 2009.

“Hillbilly Bone” reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart following its release. It also peaked at the 40th spot on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. The song has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Leatherwood stepped up to the plate as Shelton’s new duet partner when they performed “Hillbilly Bone” on the Voice finale. Since Leatherwood is country to the core, there was no doubt he’d deliver an epic performance.

Viewers loved Leatherwood and Shelton’s collaboration. Some of the comments on the official YouTube video of their duet were:

“I believe Bryce is going to be a country superstar!”

“An awesome performance! Bryce, you looked the most comfortable yet! Loved it! Keep that great country music coming!!!”

“Blake should take Bryce with him on tour!”
