Brandon Blackstock Dies At 48
Brandon Blackstock’s legacy continues to live on following his passing.
Blackstock passed away on August 7, 2025 after a 3-year battle with melanoma at just 48 years old. The talent manager and producer was the son of Narvel Blackstock, who was married to country legend Reba McEntire for 26 years.
Brandon was the father of four children. He shared daughter Savannah and son Seth with his first wife, Melissa, to whom he was married from 2001 to 2012. He also had a son and a daughter, Remy and River, with singer Kelly Clarkson. The couple was married for nine years before divorcing in 2022.

Brandon’s Daughter, Savannah, Shares Touching Tribute
Shortly after his death, Savannah wrote a touching tribute in her father’s honor on social media.
“My daddy never fell short of making my dreams come true. No matter how high or how far, he made a way. Not only did he make my dreams come true, he chased them with me,” she wrote on Facebook. “He is my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favorite phone call every day.”
She then shared a deeply personal message, revealing the best gift he had ever given her: a shared relationship with Jesus.
“He always loved the Lord, but 6 months ago he sought the Lord. He was hungry for the word and we did it together,” Savannah shared, adding that on the day he died, he gave her “the most valuable gift I could’ve asked for. The gift of knowing where he is today, in Heaven with our Savior.”
Savannah & Her Husband Welcome A Sweet Baby Girl
On Sunday (January 4), Savannah announced the arrival of her precious baby girl and third child, LouCasey Lee.
“Aside from the ultimate gift, God blessed us in the final days of 2025 with one of the most precious gifts of all, our beautiful baby girl, LouCasey Lee,” she wrote. “Lou is nothing short of a miracle for our family after the immense loss we experienced. God’s timing is perfect timing though we may not understand his ways, he is ALWAYS on time.”
Savannah shared a photo of LouCasey wrapped in a pink blanket, thanking Jesus for the “never ending blessing” of a newborn baby.
Congratulations to Savannah and her family on the birth of sweet LouCasey!
