Brad Paisley is celebrating his wife’s birthday while also welcoming a special addition to their family.
Brad’s wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, celebrated her 54th birthday on Sunday, September 14. And to mark the occasion, the country superstar shared a sweet photo of her on social media.
However, the post wasn’t only a celebration of his wife, but it was also to let fans know they’ve welcomed a new family member. In the post, Kimberly is pictured kneeling on the ground beside an adorable baby donkey.
“A beautiful donkey was just born on our farm,” Brad wrote in the caption.
He continued, “Speaking of, it’s the beautiful @kimberlywilliamspaisley’s birthday today! Happy birthday!”
Brad then decided to joke around and tease his wife just a little.
“As I write this I realize what a bad idea it may have been to combine the two announcements,” he added “I’m not saying they are in any way similar. Or that she is a….Maybe I should edit th…”
Kimberly even joined in on the fun, commenting that if it weren’t for the donkey, Brad probably wouldn’t have remembered her birthday.
“A hundred bucks says if that donkey wasn’t born on our farm, he’d have forgotten it was my birthday,” she wrote.
Brad and Kimberly Williams-Paisley Have Been Together For Over Two Decades
Brad first noticed Kimberly when he saw her in the 1991 film Father of the Bride, where she played Annie Banks.
It wasn’t until 10 years later, though, that the pair actually met. He ended up asking her to star in his music video for “I’m Gonna Miss Her,” and not long after that, the two began dating.
