Cyrus recently appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, and the 28-year old’s performance of “Prisoner” caught Stefani’s attention. The No Doubt singer was so impressed by Cyrus that she could not help but share some love.
“Talented geeezzzz,” Stefani wrote on Twitter. “gx.”

Cyrus was immediately starstruck by Stefani’s comment and referred to the 51-year-old artist as one of her “heroes.” Cyrus also volunteered to sing at Stefani and Shelton’s wedding. In a tweet, the singer wrote:
“ALSO @gwenstefani @blakeshelton I’ll be your wedding singer!” Cyrus tweeted. “I promise to be on my best behavior. Or worst. whatever you want! It’s your special day! Cheers to loving you both almost as much as you love each other!”

Previously, Shelton mentioned that he wanted his former Voice co-judge, Adam Levine, to play at the wedding, but can a party ever have too many celebrity musical performances? In an interview with Extra, Shelton finally addressed Cyrus’ proposal.
“Oh, man, who is going to turn down an offer like that?” Shelton asked. “My experiences with Miley…She’s so much fun to be around, and I don’t think I want her on her best behavior. I want her to be crazy Miley if she comes to our wedding.”
