On December 12, Blake Shelton released his newest compilation album, Fully Loaded: God’s Country. The album is mostly comprised of prior releases from Shelton, but also contains new tracks.

A few of those tracks are “God’s Country” and “Hell Right,” with the latter song featuring Trace Adkins.

Adkins wasn’t the only artist Shelton collaborated with for the record. He also enlisted the help of his girlfriend Gwen Stefani on a new love song titled “Nobody But You.”

This marks the third time Shelton and Stefani have recorded a duet, with their two previous releases being “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” and “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.”

“Nobody But You” is the first of the couple’s duets they had no hand in writing. Instead, the track was penned by Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne, and Tommy Lee James.

Even though he didn’t write the song, Shelton felt a connection to it right away:

This was one of those songs where the more I heard it, the more I fell in love with it,” he said in a statement. “I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life, and I think that’s why Shane was trying to get it to me.”

Shelton spoke about the song further, saying, “It’s our song. I think it’s magic.”

Shelton and Stefani’s fans think the song is “magic” as well, and it has received a wealth of praise on social media.

Just two weeks after its release, “Nobody But You” is already one of the hottest songs in country music, and the numbers prove it. CMT reports the song debuted at the #9 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart.

This is quite remarkable considering the fact that “Nobody But You” has not been released as a single.

The song’s debut is also an achievement for Stefani, since it marks her first time landing a song in the Hot Country Songs‘ Top 10. “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” her prior country release with Shelton, peaked at the chart’s 13th position.

Since “Nobody But You” is still new, we’ll have to wait and see if it climbs even higher up the chart. Who knows…maybe it will go on to become Stefani’s first country #1 hit!
