Partnered with pro dancer Witney Carson, Robert has been wowing the judges week after week, especially because he doesn’t have any dance experience. He topped the leaderboard after the first show and has stayed towards the top every week thereafter.

The Irwin family all moved to Los Angeles for as long as Robert will be on the show to support him in the audience every single week. Bindi, her husband Chandler Powell, their daughter Grace, and Bindi and Robert’s mom, Terri, have been mainstays in the ballroom this season.

Not only have they been cheering him on, Terri also joined him for his “Dedication Night” dance on October 14th, where he performed a contemporary routine to Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart”

Bindi Missed Robert’s “Wicked” Night Performance

Bindi was noticeably absent from the October 21st Wicked-themed night, and Bindi actually revealed why before the episode even aired.

We absolutely adore being in the audience to celebrate Uncle Robert on @dancingwiththestars. This week, Grace has a little cold so we’re going to cheer from our living room,” Bindi shared on Instagram.

Robert and Witney earned favorable judging and 9s from all the judges, keeping them safe for another week. Tuesday night’s (October 28) episode is Halloween night, where Robert will dance an Argentine Tango to “Sweet Dreams Are Made of This” by The Hampton String Quartet.

Bindi Will Be Absent Again On Halloween Night

Unfortunately, it seems Grace only got sicker and gave whatever she had to both her parents. Bindi revealed on Instagram that she and her family will be cheering on Robert from their living room.

She wrote, “Chandler, Grace and I all got a bug and I’ve completely lost my voice now…so we will be cheering (quietly) from our living room for Robert and Witney on @dancingwiththestars. They have an incredible dance for Halloween week, beyond proud of their hard work and dedication.”

We’re sure Robert and Witney will feel their support from home!
