Bindi & Robert Irwin Become The First Celebrity Siblings To Win Dancing With The Stars

10 years ago in 2015, Bindi Irwin competed on – and won- Dancing With The Stars. And last week, an entire decade later, her younger brother, Robert also defeated his season! Their wins mark the first sibling duo to both take home mirror ball trophies.

Partnered with professional dancer Witney Carson, Robert was a fan favorite and dazzled the judges week after week, an impressive feat considering he came into Dancing with the Stars with no prior dance experience.

After topping the leaderboard on premiere night, Robert consistently remained near the top of the rankings, earning praise for both his skill and charisma on the dance floor.

On Tuesday (November 25), Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that Robert and Witney were the champions of the season!

The entire Irwin family even temporarily moved to Los Angeles to cheer him on each week. Bindi, her husband Chandler Powell, their daughter Grace, and Robert and Bindi’s mother Terri Irwin became familiar faces in the ballroom audience, proudly supporting Robert’s journey every step of the way.

Throughout their stay in Los Angeles, the family posted sweet updates documenting their journey.

On Halloween, Robert shared a clip of him and Grace from the night, as the two dressed up as none other than Cinderalla and Prince Charming!

Bindi commented on the video, thanking her brother for being a “wonderful uncle and brother and friend.” Grace also made an adorable surprise appearance during a rehearsal!

Bindi, Chandler & Grace Return To Australia

On Monday (December 1), Bindi posted an adorable video of Grace back in Australia. The footage shared Grace delightfully running around the Australia Zoo, feeding her animal friend, Igloo.

“H O M E. 🐢 The first thing Grace wanted to do? See her best friend, Igloo. @australiazoo,” Bindi wrote.

Grace can be seen giving Igloo an adorable side hug, saying she “missed” the tortoise.

In 2022, the Australia Zoo posted about Bindi and Chandler’s visit with Igloo, an Aldabra tortoise. With the ability to grow up to 600lbs, Chandler shares in the video that the species are the largest tortoise in the world.
