On Friday, November 8, the 2025 Grammy Nominations Were Announced
Fans are seeing some of their favorite artists nominated this year for a prestigious Grammy Award. A few are even receiving nominations for the very first time.
The award show features four categories specifically dedicated to country music: Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, and Best Country Song. The award for Best Country Song is given to the songwriters.
Country artists aren’t limited to just these categories, though. They can also be recognized in all-genre categories.
Beyoncé, a familiar face but a newcomer to the country scene, made a groundbreaking debut this year with her album Cowboy Carter.
The album made history by spending four weeks at the top of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, making Beyoncé the first Black woman to achieve this milestone.
