Not long after celebrating at her bridal shower, 18-year-old Duck Dynasty star Bella Robertson recently spent some time in the hospital.
Bella, who is Willie and Korie Robertson‘s youngest daughter, has been hospitalized a few times over the years. In 2018, she was admitted to the hospital after suffering a “complicated migraine.” During that stay, doctors discovered Bella had three bulging discs in her neck.
“Its [sic] too soon to tell if this will be a recurring thing that I have from a gene or not…” Bella said on her Instagram Story at the time.
Then in 2019, Bella was hospitalized after she was involved in “a pretty bad wreck.” She sprained her shoulder as a result of the accident.
In 2020, Bella was the first member of the Robertson family to contract COVID-19. Her parents (Willie and Korie), sister (Sadie), and brother-in-law (Christian) all caught the virus as well.
More recently, Bella found herself feeling under the weather yet again, and landed in the hospital once more. The young bride-to-be shared a photo on her Instagram Story that shows her wearing a hospital gown while snuggling her fiancé, Jacob Mayo. Jacob shared the same image on his own Instagram Story.
“had a good scare this week that landed me here,” Bella wrote. “thankful to have had the best caregiver and one to make a hospital stay not too bad.”
She then tagged Jacob and wrote, “…i couldn’t love you more.”
Although Bella didn’t say why she was in the hospital, it must have been frightening for her if she called it a “good scare.” Thankfully, she seems to be doing better now and appears to be home with her family.
Bella’s sister, Rebecca, shared a short video on her Instagram Story of her two-year-old son, Zane, giving Bella a hug and a colored picture of a teddy bear that said “Get Well soon.”
Both Bella and Zane were all smiles!
Whatever the reason for Bella’s hospitalization, we’ll be hoping and praying for her quick and complete recovery. Feel better Bella!
