Manilow Reveals A Concerning Health Update
Unfortunately, Manilow revealed that he would have to postpone his farewell tour due to some health issues.
Manilow suffered from bronchitis for a total of 11 weeks recently. He was able to return to the stage for his Christmas concerts in Palm Desert, but likely due to his age and his recent illness, his doctor ordered another MRI just to be safe.
In a Facebook post, Manilow revealed that the MRI found a “cancerous spot in my left lung.”
He will require surgery to remove it.
“It’s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early,” he wrote. “That’s the good news.”
But because he needs surgery, he will have to post pone his January 2026 tour dates to kick off on February 27. See the rescheduled dates below.

Thankfully, doctors do not believe the cancer has spread, and the iconic singer shouldn’t need chemotherapy or radiation.
We will keep Barry Manilow in our prayers and hope he has a speedy recovery. See his full statement to his fans below.
