About “How High The Moon”
“How High the Moon” is a well-known jazz song that was first recorded in 1940. Benny Goodman & His Orchestra made one of the first recordings, with Helen Forrest singing. The song was first introduced and popularized in the Broadway show Two for the Show, where Alfred Drake and Frances Comstock performed it. Over time, it has become a jazz favorite, with many musicians creating their own versions of its upbeat melody and lyrics.
