Mattie Jackson Welcomes Baby No. 2
In October 2025, Alan Jackson’s daughter, Mattie, announced she was expecting her second child, and this time – a girl!
Mattie took to Instagram on October 10 to share the exciting news. She posted a photo carousel of her and her husband Connor Smith, along with their 1-year-old, Wesley, with baby girl’s ultrasound.
“The most amazing news we are beyond excited to share – our little wild angel is going to be a big brother! 👶🏻🤰🏻🥹,” Mattie wrote.

Wesley Becomes A Big Brother!
In June 2024, Mattie and Connor welcomed their baby boy, Wesley Alan Smith. Wesley is named after the legendary Alan Jackson and also Connor’s grandfather.
Mattie’s first husband, Ben Selecman, died in 2018, just three weeks before their first wedding anniversary. After finding herself a young widow, Mattie shared how her faith helped her process her grief.
Three years later, she found the opportunity to love again when she met her now-husband, Connor. They married in May 2023 and announced the exciting news that they were expecting Wesley less than a year later.
Baby Girl Charlie Makes Her Arrival
On February 13, Mattie’s sweet baby girl, Charlotte “Charlie” Ann Smith, made her arrival. She shared the big news in a social media post Tuesday (February 17).
“Our little valentine decided to make her entrance a few days early, and we couldn’t be more in love with her! You are the greatest tiny pink blessing, angel girl! Momma, Dada, and even big brother and Ryman already love you so,” Mattie wrote.
She shared a carousel of adorable photos of their new little family of 4, including big brother Wesley smitten holding baby girl! Congratulation to Mattie and her growing family!
