Mattie Jackson Smith, daughter of country star Alan Jackson, and her husband, Connor Smith, shared the exciting news on Thursday that they are expecting their first baby.
“Blessings are overflowing in our growing family!” Alan Jackson shared.
The announcement comes less than a year after that couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in West Palm Beach, Florida, in May. Mattie, who tragically lost her first husband in 2018, expressed her joy on social media, revealing that their son, affectionately referred to as “Baby Boy Smith,” is due to arrive in June.

This will be the second grandchild for Alan Jackson and his wife, Denise.
The couple welcomed their first grandchild, Jackson Alvi Bradshaw, in December 2022, when their daughter Ali and her husband, Sam, became parents for the first time.
Alan Jackson celebrated the birth of his first grandson just two days before he and Denise commemorated their 43rd wedding anniversary. To mark this special occasion, he shared a heartwarming photo of the couple holding baby Jackson.
