Not to be confused with the Songwriter of the Year award, the Artist-Songwriter of the Year field was introduced at last year’s ACMs, aimed to spotlight the multifaceted talents within the country music industry, recognizing individuals who excel both as performers and songwriters.
Five distinguished artists were nominated for the coveted Artist-Songwriter of the Year award:

These nominees represent the pinnacle of country music creativity, each bringing their unique voice and storytelling prowess to the forefront of the genre. Their nominations highlight their role not just as performers but as influential songwriters who have crafted some of the defining tracks in country music today.
HARDY was honored with the 2023 Artist-Songwriter of the Year title, receiving his trophy the night before the show’s live broadcast.
