ACM Awards Confirm Carrie Underwood Rumors

Since her nasty fall in November a few days after hosting the CMA Awards, Carrie Underwood has yet to make a public appearance. The fall left her with a broken wrist and while in surgery, had to receive 40-50 facial stitches.

Since the accident, she has hidden her face in social media posts, but has recently been a little more open – giving fans a chance to speculate as to what all the photos mean.

Her fans went into a frenzy last week when she posted a photo of her rehearsing, but at the time, she didn’t have a show scheduled until CMA Fest in June. See that photo below.

Now we know that her first performance since her fall will take place a little sooner than CMA Fest.

In a press release, the Academy of Country Music revealed that the thirteen-time ACM Award winner will be performing live for the very first time since her November accident at the ACM Awards on Sunday, April 15.

According to the release, Underwood will be performing her soon-to-be-released single, which from the looks of her most recent Instagram post, will be released on April 11 at 6am EST.

This Wednesday, April 11. 6am ET.
