Hailey Whitters And Husband Jake Gear Are Expecting A Baby In November

Congratulations are in order for country singer Hailey Whitters, as she just announced that she’s pregnant with her first child!

Whitters and her husband Jake Gear shared their pregnancy news on Sunday (August 24). They paired the announcement with a series of sweet photos taken in a corn field.

The pictures nod toward the name of Whitters’ newly released album, Corn Queen, which dropped on June 6.

In the caption, Whitters and Gear shared when she’s due, and revealed whether they’re expecting a boy or a girl. They wrote, “our greatest production yet…baby boy coming in Nov!

Whitters’ fans and fellow artists were quick to congratulate her and Gear, who she married in 2022.

Who Is Hailey Whitters?

Hailey Whitters released her debut studio album, Black Sheep, in 2015. She also wrote songs for other artists during the early years of her career, including Little Big Town’s “Happy People.”

Whitters made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2019. Ahead of the celebratory performance, she recalled how she met Little Jimmy Dickens years prior and told him about her dream of singing in the Opry Circle.

Whitters’ career continued to take off after her third album, 2022’s Raised, became her first to chart, reaching #9 on the Heatseekers Albums chart.

Raised featured the hit single “Everything She Ain’t,” which Whitters co-wrote with Ryan Tyndell and Bryan Simpson. The track peaked at #17 on the Country Airplay chart and #24 on the Hot Country Songs chart. It has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

The success of “Everything She Ain’t” and Raised led Whitters to win the New Female Artist of the Year award from the ACM in 2023. She’s also received a Grammy nomination and a CMA Award nomination.

Now, this year, Hailey Whitters is celebrating the release of her fourth album, Corn Queen, and her pregnancy! We wish her and Jake Gear the best as they prepare to welcome their baby boy in November.
