Without a doubt, staying under quarantine can be tough, especially if you run out of booze.

93-year-old Olive Veronesi, has been adhering to social distancing orders at her home in Seminole, Pennsylvania and is apparently running low on beer. A relative snapped a photo of her that was posted on their local news’ Facebook page which was seen by more than 2.5 million people.

The photo shows Olive holding a whiteboard sign in one hand that reads, “I NEED MORE BEER!!” In her other hand, she drops an obvious hint to her preference by holding what we can only assume is an empty can of Coors Light.

In the video interview with KDKA, Olive told the reporter,

“I have a beer every night! I’ve got some in now. Do you want one?”

She continued the interview by saying,

“Something to relax, you know? I think it’s nice – something for a young lady!”

Amid the lockdown orders, people over the age of 70 have a higher risk factor for contracting COVID-19 and are advised to stay home and have relatives or friends grocery shop for them whenever possible. Because Olive’s creative plea went viral, it was only a matter of time before her request was granted.

Days later, Coors answered her request and delivered 150 beers!
