Last night (November 10) was the 55th annual CMA Awards. The ceremony was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Leading up to the ceremony, artists and their significant others took to social media to update their fans on how they were preparing for the red carpet. It takes a lot of work to get ready for an event as big as the CMA Awards!

From elegant gowns to well-tailored suits, everyone was dressed up and ready to celebrate with their peers during “country music’s biggest night.”

Here, we wanted to share some photos of nine of our favorite red carpet looks from the 2021 CMA Awards. Keep scrolling to see who made the list!

The Female Vocalist of the Year winner wore a dark blue dress designed by Marchesa. The dress featured a V-neckline, a slit up one side of the skirt, and cutouts on the sides along the waist.

Pearce accented her look with heels from Stuart Weitzman and jewelry from KALLATI Jewelry. She styled her hair in long, loose waves and wore bright blue eyeshadow to pull her whole look together.

Jennifer Hudson

The former Voice coach took the term “red carpet” seriously and arrived wearing a red lace jumpsuit. She complemented the look with matching lace gloves and a matching skirt with a long train.

Hudson later blew everyone away with her performance of “Night Life” and “You Are My Sunshine” in honor of Aretha Franklin. Hudson plays the legendary “Queen of Soul” in the new movie Respect.

Lambert was celebrating her birthday on the same day as the CMA Awards, so she had two perfect reasons to get all dressed up! The birthday girl wore a knee-length black dress that she accented with neon pink earrings and a neon pink clutch.

She walked the red carpet with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, who wore a classic black suit to coordinate with her.

Mickey Guyton

Guyton said it felt “like a dream” to be at the CMA Awards. She looked like a dream come true in her gorgeous red carpet gown, which was white with glittery details along the neckline.

The gown had a short train, a slit up one side of the skirt, and a slight off-the-shoulder neckline. Guyton finished off her look with some swirl-shaped earrings and sparkly eye makeup.

Russell Dickerson

The “Yours” singer went for a timeless look when walking the red carpet this year. He donned an entirely black suit designed by Saint Laurent and jewelry by David Yurman.

Dickerson was accompanied by his wife, Kailey, who looked gorgeous in her black dress designed by Johnathan Kayne. She paired the dress with sparkly shoes from Gianni Bini and jewelry from American Jewelers and Nadri.

Thomas Rhett

Rhett’s red carpet look was sleek and simple. He wore a maroon suit with a black undershirt and matching black shoes…and looked great!

Since Rhett’s wife, Lauren, is currently pregnant and due any day, she wasn’t able to attend. So Rhett brought his beautiful mama Paige Lankford as his date!

Combs rocked the red carpet in a suit with a fun burgundy jacket. He was accompanied by his wife, Nicole, who wore a black gown with side cutouts that were accented by tiny rhinestones.

Just hours after the couple took their red carpet photos, they were celebrating as Combs was named the Entertainer of the Year!

It seems like shades of red were popular among the artists who walked the red carpet at the CMA Awards! McCreery looked dashing as always in a suit with deep burgundy colored jacket.

McCreery brought his wife, Gabi, as his date. She dazzled in a two-piece black outfit covered in sparkles.

Kelsea Ballerini

Ballerini walked the red carpet at the CMA Awards knowing she was already a winner! Her collaboration with Kenny Chesney, “Half of My Hometown,” won the award for Musical Event of the Year and also took home the award for Music Video of the Year.

She won the red carpet too, because she looked incredible in the white gown she wore! She smiled as she snuggled up to her husband, fellow singer Morgan Evans, who looked handsome in his black suit.

There’s our list of some of the best-dressed singers at this year’s CMA Awards! Whose outfit was your favorite?
