So many country artists welcomed new babies in 2021!
Some singers, like Thomas Rhett and Jimmie Allen, gave their children a baby sibling. Others, such as Mickey Guyton and Chris Lane, became first-time parents.
Several Voice alums had new babies in 2021, as did American Idol finalist Gabby Barrett.
The descendants of country music legends were also born this year. Waylon Jennings‘ grandson, Whey, and Johnny Cash‘s son, John Carter, both had new babies.

Clay Walker and his wife, Jessica, welcomed a baby boy on January 5. They named him Christiaan Michael.
Baby Christiaan is Clay and Jessica’s fifth child. They have three other sons, Ezra, Elijah, and William, and a daughter, Mary-Elizabeth. Clay also has two daughters, Skylor and MaClay, from his previous marriage.
Avalyn Mae Clark

The Voice alum and her boyfriend, Mitch Clark, welcomed their first child on January 6. Mary Sarah gave birth to a baby girl, Avalyn Mae.
“Yesterday was THE most magical day for Mitch and I,” Mary Sarah wrote on social media when she shared Avalyn’s first photo.
Baylah May Foehner

Both Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, are American Idol alums. The couple married in 2019, and welcomed their first child on January 18 of this year.
Gabby gave birth to a daughter, Baylah May Foehner. She and Cade have chosen not to share photos of Baylah’s full face on social media, which is why her face is not visible in her first photo.
Hollis Caroline Farr

Tyler Farr and his wife, Hannah, welcomed their first child this year. They had a baby girl, who they named Hollis Caroline.
Hollis was born on January 27. Speaking about his daughter, Tyler said, “I’m so blessed to be her dad!”

Mickey Guyton and her husband, Grant Savoy, welcomed their first child in early February. They had a baby boy, and named him Grayson Clark.
The “Remember Her Name” singer said giving birth to her son was “The hardest and most beautiful thing” she had ever done.

Whiskey Myers’ Cody Cannon and his wife, Haley, had their first child this year. Haley gave birth to a son on February 23.
The newest addition of the Cannon family is named Ripp Lightnin’. He’s a cutie!
Katherine Aryah Jennings
Whey Jennings and his wife, Taryn, welcomed a baby girl on February 24. They named her Katherine Aryah.
Baby Katherine has several older siblings to watch over her. She and her siblings are the great-grandchildren of outlaw country icon Waylon Jennings.

In March, Turnpike Troubadours’ Evan Felker and his wife, Staci, surprised their followers when they announced they had welcomed their first child in secret earlier in the year. They had a baby girl named Evangelina Hartford.
Based on the timing in some of Staci’s Instagram posts, it seems that Evangelina was born on January 16.

Former Old Crow Medicine Show member Charlie Worsham and his wife, Kristen, became first-time parents in 2021. Kristen gave birth to a baby boy named Gabriel Thomas on April 1.

The Voice champion has a son, Jaxon from a previous relationship. He and Brooke share four kids: sons Graydon and Boston, and daughters Dakota and Blakely.

In a nod to country music, ERNEST and Delaney named their firstborn after the “Mother Church of Country Music”…the Ryman Auditorium. His name is Ryman Saint.

Chris Lane and his wife, Lauren, had a baby boy on June 8. As fans of the TV series Yellowstone, the couple chose the name Dutton Walker for their first child.

John Carter Cash and his wife, Ana Cristina, welcomed a baby boy on July 16. They named him James Kristoffer. The couple also shares a daughter, Grace. John Carter has two older sons (Jack and Joseph), and an older daughter (AnnaBelle).
Baby James is the grandson of country music legends Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Brett Young welcomed another little “Lady” into his life in 2021. He and his wife, Taylor, had a baby girl on July 21. Her name is Rowan Marie. The Youngs share another daughter, Presley.

Maverick was born on August 20. His birth came just a little over two years after the passing of Granger and Amber’s third child, their son River. The couple also shares a son named Lincoln and a daughter named London.

Midland‘s Mark Wystrach and his wife, Ty Haney, welcomed a baby boy on December 5. They also share a daughter, Sunny.
Mark originally introduced his son by the nickname “Champie,” but later revealed his full name is Champion Arizona.
