Lauren Marie Presley, who was just 12 at the time of this video, possesses the same talent and charm as her distant cousin Elvis Presley, as the world had witnessed in The King. As a young singer, she aims to pursue her Nashville dreams and follow in the footsteps of her renowned relative until she achieves them completely.

Lauren proved the apple didn’t fall far from the talented tree by recording her own version of Sara Evans‘ “A Little Bit Stronger.”

The young country singer has undoubtedly inherited some of Elvis’ exceptional musical talent, showcasing impressive vocal strength for someone of her tender age and gender.

History Of The Song

Co-written by Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, “A Little Bit Stronger” was recorded by Sara Evans in 2010. The song was also featured in the 2010 movie “Country Strong,” where it was recorded by actress Leighton Meester and included in the film’s soundtrack. It was later released as the second single in 2011.

Evans’ rendition of the song received critical acclaim and rose to the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, as well as reaching number 34 on the all-genre Hot 100.

It’s remarkable to hear such a talented young artist’s rendition of the song! Even though she is only 12 years old when she sings this, she performs it as though she has been through everything in the song. It’s incredible what maturity she sings with.
