When Dierks Bentley was announced as a performer at this year’s ACM Awards, there was no mystery about what song he would sing. That’s because he needed to give his fans enough time to submit photos so they could be part of his performance!
He revealed that he would be singing his newest single “Woman, Amen” and would feature real life “everyday heroes,” who are, of course, women. He gave fans a chance to submit photos on social media of women who they feel deserve to be celebrated during his ACM performance.

One of his more personal songs, “Woman, Amen” was co-written by Bentley and Josh Kear, who also wrote “Drunk On A Plane” together.
Speaking with The Boot about his lead-off single for his upcoming album The Mountain, Bentley said, “I loved the message. It’s very direct, and very honest for me in my relationship with my wife. I feel more grateful for her every year that goes along. I get so caught up in the music, and she helps steer me through all the work and being out on the road, and just helping me be the man that I am. She has more vision in some ways — as most women do.”
Dressed in all black, Bentley passionately sang his catchy song standing in front of hundreds of images of women being displayed behind him. To finish off the performance, he walked down the stage and gave his wife an unexpected kiss!
